Stunning beach house with every amenity AND location!

We rented this property for 10 days with extended family. We had an amazing week! It's great for sharing a different culture with your kids! No big resorts, no american restaurants or influences. The home is beautiful with all the comforts of the US, except you can't drink the water. Ydelfonso was wonderful with the few little issues we had (totally expected for Mexico and always addressed immediately). He met us personally to go over the house when we arrived and came to see us off when we left. He brought us snacks, water, and cerveza as requested on arrival. He checked in and fixed things, but was never intrusive. The highlight was Ricardo and Shelly, who cooked for us during our stay. They became like family, and we will mess them!! Amazing food and such great people!! Almost no one speaks english, so if you don't speak Spanish, you will need Google translate! You also need a car. The house and pool are beautiful. The beach is not the prettiest, but it's shallow and safe for kids. You can walk forever and still be only waist high. Very few waves. Being right by a flamingo habitat was one of our favorite perks!! If you are looking to experience mexico, this is an amazing opportunity!

My wife and I stayed at this house for over a week and really loved it. We actually found it more impressive than the description and pictures made it out to be. I was able to walk to downtown Telchac on the beach, which I found to be great for walking, and although the water was too cold for my wife this time of year, I thought it was great. It was my first time on the gulf side of the Yucatan beaches, and was surprised how far one could walk out and still be in shallow water with a sandy bottom.
