About this apartment rental

Welcome to the Pearl of the Alps, our mountain area in the charming village of Saint Gervais, located 20 minutes from Chamonix / Megeve. The studio is located in the residence of Clos G'rets, a co-ownership chalet on the slopes and includes a pool. There is a living room / kitchen as well as a cabin with bunk beds. The studio can accommodate up to 4 people. The lounge / kitchen has a luminous glazed door that opens onto a sunny terrace and offers magnificent views of the mountain village. The kitchen has everything you need for a convenient stay - oven, refrigerator, utensils, dishes, coffee machine, fondue machine, etc. You will also find a TV and DVD player and a collection of books and DVDs.

The studio is 10 minutes walk from the village center. The Pearl of the Alps is right on the track leading to the elevator St Gervais-Bettex which allows you to ski to the tele-pheric winter - a pied-a-track! And if you're there in the summer, you (and the kids) will enjoy the outdoor pool. The famous Thermal Park St Gervais, which offers a spa and a range of treatments, is a 10 minute drive. Upon your arrival at the residence, the concierge will give you the keys and will be available if you have any questions during your stay at the Pearl of the Alps.

Had a great stay and I know ski chalets are notoriously small but this was the smallest I have ever stayed in out of probably more than 30. There were three of us, one parent and two adult children. I think two full size couples would struggle. Storage space doesn't really exist so we could not unpack and it was necessary to live out of ones travel cases. Fine for most people but perhaps future renters will appreciate the heads up. Communication with the host was first class. Would recommend.

Great apartment for small family. Has all necessary equipment. Owners really helpful and responds well. The only thing to highlight - there is no Wi-Fi in the apartment, works only in concierge area.

I've been staying in Joelle's studio for 10 days with my 2 children in August. Joelle was responsive and helpful, apartments clean and homily. Stunning views from balcony and swimming pool just next to entrance are fantastic extras- we've been swimming every day after running and hiking in mountains. There is everything you need for simple and comfortable lifestyle, cooking and cleaning- apart from bed linen, you have to rent in a town- 1 double and 2 singles will cost you 55 EUR pw. We left loads of stuff for next occupants to use- coffee, herbal tea, sugar, bottle of sunflower oil, 1 kg flour, pasta, soap and shampoo, so you don't have to buy these. Hope to come back one day, enjoyed every minute of our stay in Joelle's studio with a view.

Stayed here for a week during Feb 2018 for a family ski trip - 1 adult and 3 kids. This place was ideal for us. Great view of the valley and town from the balcony. Ski storage in basement. Rear door of complex next to piste - red run, close to bottom of Bettex lift. Small kitchen with good size dining table. Separate bathroom, separate WC. Able to walk into centre of St Gervais via piste (20-25 mins). Owner contactable and very helpful before and during stay. Would recommend.

Perfect location for my ski holiday. Easy to book, quick response. Good directions and easy to find. Convenient for the ski lift and in walking distance of the town. You could ski back to the apartment so long as there was enough snow on the run back down to town. Beautiful view of the town particularly at sun rise and sun set. Good internet connection at reception. Great stay, great skiing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: the apartment and the surrounding area had all the requisite facilities. For our purposes (two weeks climbing in and around the Chamonix valley) the apartment and location were ideal: close enough to offer ease of access (with a car) but far enough out to avoid the summer crowds. The pool also offered some welcome respite from the sun on quiet days.

We had a very nice vacation in Saint Gervais les Bains. The studio offers exactly what promises. Quiet, cheap studio for 4, right next to the slopes. For fanatic skiers as our family is, it's just the perfect choice. There are some minor things to improve: the driving directions on Google maps are marked wrong and they drive you in the center of the city; the person in charge speaks no other language than French and cannot explain the driving directions by phone. She knows the street but not the house number. So, in this small place it took more than an hour to discover the place. The weather, the studio and skiing condition made us to forget quickly these troubles. Irecommend to everyone!

Propriété conforme à l'annonce et au Photos. Le plus est la piscine chauffée, propre et calme. Pas très loin du mont blanc tout en profitant d'un tarif non agressif. L'appartement n'est pas de dernière génération mais est suffisant pour des personnes qui ne recherche pas les 150M2. Bon séjour......

Logement assez petit mais duffisant pour passer un sejour en montagne. Quelques petites réparations sont à prévoir notamment sur le mitigeur de la baignoire qui coule et du robinet et de la pomme de de douche en même temps ainsi que les portes serviettes et porte manteau qui sont à revisser. Mais le logement été tres propre à notre arrivée et un homme super sympas pour nous guider jusqu'à la location. Hormis ces petits défauts tout est impeccable. Rapport qualité/ prix au top. Je conseille.

La communication non réactive avec la prioritaire ( sauf au moment de la réservation) n’a pas permis d’être bien accueillis par les gardiens de l’immeuble. En effet aucune communication sur les conditions d’arrivée ! Lors de mon premier message pour demander comment récupérer les clés, la réponse obtenue était destinée à d’autres personnes et lorsque je l’ai signaler je n’ai eu aucun retour. Du coup en arrivant sur place nous n’avions aucun numéro à appeler et aucune indication pour savoir où trouver les gardiens !! L’appartement quant à lui est vraiment limite pour l’accueil d’une famille à 4 mais cela aurait pu passer s’il était propre! Des traces sur les alèses ainsi que sur des couvertures et des coussins! Alors en cette période de covid 19 autant dire que cela ne met pas en confiance ! A ce titre aucune mesure n’a été mise en place pour notre accueil. L’appartement est vieillissant et mérite des travaux, l’espace limité ne permet pas de mettre les valises et les porte manteaux ne sont pas utilisables car cassés ! Bref très déçu sauf par st Gervais qui est très sympa pour des balades. L’appartement

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans l’appartement proposé par Joëlle. L’appartement est idéalement situé, au calme, est fonctionnel et au pied des pistes si suffisamment de neige. Il permet de profiter facilement de l’ensemble du domaine skiable alentour.

L appartement de Joelle se trouve sur les hauteurs de st Gervais mais peu éloigné du centre ville. Le vue est magnifique : les warens d un côté, le mont blanc de l autre... Rien à redire sur l appartement( propre, bien équipé et fonctionnel) La personne qui accueille est d une grande gentillesse. A conseiller.
