Just 15 mins off the A6, behind the cream wooden double gates with the number 25 on, lies a comfortable, secluded and peaceful holiday retreat.
The spacious garden with full sized ping pong table, hammock, deck chairs, shaded out door picnic table and excellent gas Weber BBQ make a great first impression.
The down stairs windows all have wooden shutters, and upstairs have internal shutters which were very welcome as we visited during a 40C+ heatwave.
The well equipped kitchen includes large fridge freezer, microwave 4 ring gas hob and oven with all the cutlery and crockery and BBQ tools you will need, whether you eat at the kitchen table or outside under the shade sail.
Downstairs has a hall way with wardrobe leading upstairs to the bedrooms, a lounge with 2 sofas (red leather sofa added to website image), log burner and TV. There is a further lounge room which has a low bed, desk and wood burner, this area has a sense of being like an annexe and may suit 2 families sharing the property.
Upstairs above the kitchen and lounge are 2 bedrooms- a large double with exposed beams, and a twin with attractive shuttered square windows. There is also a bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and sink upstairs. Because these rooms are in the roof space there is some restricted head room - we are not a tall family so this was not so much a concern for us.
Another bathroom is downstairs reached through the second lounge room, with toilet, shower over bath and sink. This bathroom also has a washing machine and tumble dryer, outside is a clothes line to dry swimming kit, towels, clothes etc.
It was very warm when we visited, so we made good use of the lakes near the property- Lac du Pont was an obvious favourite with man made beach, pedal boats, kayaks etc to hire and good swimming area - attached to a camp site. The other lakes are easily accessible and good for safe swimming. Auxerre and Chablis make a good day trip and the nearby Alesia visitor centre is a brilliant visit and on the doorstep. Semur-en-Auxois (10km away) has the nearest super market and is well worth a visit with attractive old town and has a number of good restaurants.
The area around Brianny is a beautiful farming area, with a very laid back feel. The property has 2 adult and 2 circa 10yr old child bikes - it was just too hot for us to use them on the canal paths nearby. We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in einem einfachen, aber gut ausgestatteten und mit sehr viel Geschmack eingerichteten Haus verbracht. Wir waren mit 2 Hunden dort, für die es das Paradies war. Sie hatten Auslauf, waren aber im ummauerten Garten sicher aufgehoben. Aber nicht nur für sie war es ein Paradies. Wer die Natur liebt, gerne ungestört ist, die Ruhe liebt und kein Luxusbad erwartet, für den ist dieses Haus perfekt. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und für 4-6 Personen ideal. Die Eigentümerin ist in der Nähe und hilft bei Fragen jederzeit gerne. Es war alles sehr unkompliziert und sympathisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans cette ancienne ferme rénovée! Tout y a été idéal pour sortir du tumulte du quotidien sans être trop loins de de toutes visites des alentours et de grande villes (Dijon & Auxerre).
L’accueil était au top, les lits étaient faits, serviettes de toilettes pour toute la famille, bois de chauffe à volonté, nécessaire de cuisine disponible et œufs frais à disposition. Sophie était au petit soin pour nous, merci!

Toutefois, nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir pu manger dehors. Il y avait trop de guêpes, et même des frelons. En effet, le gîte est entouré de vignes. De plus, il manque une lumière extérieure.

Nous avons passé de très agréables vacances en famille (3 jeunes enfants). L'endroit est très calme, spacieux et joliment aménagé dans le style rustique. Terrasse vraiment agréable : nous y avons pris la plupart de nos repas.

Nous avons passé une super semaine reposante dans cette charmante maison de campagne. Lieu très calme, propriétaire disponible mais très discret, barbecue au gaz, table de ping-pong... Des visites touristiques sympas dans la région: Abbaye de Fontenay, parc animalier tout près, Beaune et ses Hospices à 3/4h, Dijon et son marché aussi à 3/4h. Brianny est un bled perdu à 5 min de l'autoroute. Bref, tout ce que nous recherchions pour nous détendre une semaine à Pâques. Vraiment une belle adresse qui mérite d'être connue!

Ce fut un vrai moment de plaisir, de détente. Des visites interessantes et variées. De bonnes adresses données par des hotes accueillants et attentionnés. Nous etions 7 et les jeuns comme les plus vieux se sont appropriés les lieux facilement. On se sent ici tout de suite à l'aise, comme chez soi. Un calme remarquable, des balades sympas. Une cuisine où il fait bon mitonner des plats familiaux.... s'il faut faire un petit reproche..la connexion Wi fi pas tres stable mais franchement pour des vacances ....on s'en moque un peu ..on vient là pour deconnecter justement !!!
