The old flour mill of S. XIX de Losacio de Alba, one of the jewels of our industrial heritage, is today The Losacio mill that combines tradition and modernity to offer a quality space for leisure, culture and rest. Our outdoor swimming pool with independent area for children with security, terraces and garden areas and the playground makes us an ideal place for families with children or groups of friends. Also if you want we can prepare a variety of activities for both children and for the enjoyment of the whole family.
37 kilometers from Zamora, it is located in a strategic place to visit the Sierra de la Culebra, Lake Sanabria, Portugal and Arribes del Duero, navigate its reservoirs, visit its villages and taste the richest traditional dishes of the area .

The Accommodation has an elevator to access the 12 luxury rooms; three triples and nine doubles, with capacity for 33 fully equipped people. They are really spacious rooms that have large beds, hydromassage showers, 32 'plasma TV, DVD, piped music, minibar, hairdryer, work desk, large closets and carefully decorated. The house also has a large library, ideal to relax with a good book or borrow one of the many DVDs that we make available to customers, this room is very suitable for a work meeting and also enjoys a great natural light .
In our dining room, if you feel like hiring this service, you can enjoy the typical dishes of the Zamora cuisine prepared as before, in a grilled oak pot, by having our own livestock we can offer our customers a high quality product.
In our activity room we can organize different workshops for the whole family to enjoy; workshop of cookies, jams and preserves ... also if you feel like we can prepare a guided visit to the cattle ranch of 140 hectares of cattle in the Sierra de la Culebra, where we will explain how these animals are raised as well as the characteristics of the flora and the fauna of this reserve declared by Unesco Biosphere Reserve.
The flour factory of 1890, recently restored to detail, is currently a museum open to the public and cultural space where guided tours and activities related to milling, gastronomy and local crafts are made.

Fuimos con la intención de desconectar de la ciudad, así que no curioseamos nada por internet, ni referente a hospedaje, ni a la zona donde íbamos a pasar estos días.
Nada más llegar nos quedamos con los ojos como platos, tanto por la decorción, como la limpieza, las habitaciones, las salas comunes... no podíamos haber imaginado algo mejor!
Dar las gracias al equipo humano que ha súper atentos en tanto en el trato dentro de la casa rural, como en las explicaciones de que ver y como llegar. Nos habéis hecho sentir como en casa!
La comida exquisita! Casera, abundante y bien de precio.
Sin duda... aún casi no hemos llegado a casa y ya estamos pensando cuando repetir!

Muchas gracias a Camino, Mari y el personal del Molino de Losacio por un extraordinario trato durante los 5 dias de Semana Santa que pasamos allí.
El Molino está en un paraje retirado con lo cual uno se asegura la máxima tranquilidad, con descanso asegurado. Las enormes habitaciones están decoradas con gusto y limpísimas.
Muy acertados los consejos de Camino y Mari para pasar el dia, con múltiples lugares que visitar y cosas que hacer.
En fin, todo fenomenal, pero insisto en destacar el trato recibido que va más allá de la simple amabilidad.

Hemos pasado el fin de año de 2012 en este precioso establecimiento. Nosotros llevamos varios años saliendo a pasar el fin de año en alojamientos de este tipo (pequeños hoteles o casas rurales) que ofrecen un paquete de nochevieja.
Hasta ahora no hemos repetido en ninguno, pero creo que repetiremos en el Molino de Losacio el próximo o próximos años.
El trato es genial, tanto Camino como Mari se encargan de que la estancia allí sea perfecta, y dándote opciones de qué hacer en cada momento.
Las instalaciones, perfectas. Dispones de un a biblioteca en la que te podrías encerrar durante todo el tiempo para leer, ver películas o jugar a juegos de mesa, hay una gran variedad de todo esto a disposición de los clientes.
Las habitaciones no son grandes, son grandiiisimas, con ducha de gidromasaje y un cama en la que podría dormir la familia entera.
Y por fin la comida. Lo primero que he de decir, que es el primer sistio donde he estado, que en un menú de nochevieja, entienden que una niña de 4 años, no tiene que pagar un menú de gala, pero lo que tengo que decir, es que el precio del menú infantil no era de gala, pero sí lo fué la comida. Un menú adaptado a los más peques pero excelente. El menu de los mayores, igualmente perfecto, y la comida de año nuevo, no se que decir, nos prepararon un cocido fabuloso, pero por si alguien se quedaba con hambre (cosa que era imposible) hicieron un parrillada de carne en la barbacoa, que todavía me acuerdo del olorcito.
En fin, no me enrrollo más, que alguien pensará que soy el dueño, y nada más alejado de la realidad.
Muchas gracias a Camino, Mary, Anibal y a todos los que hicieron que nos olvidasemos de la crisis en la nochevieja del 2012.

El hotel en sí es más que correcto, es muy nuevo y amplio y el servicio es atento y amable. Ningún problea por esa vía. Lo malo es que se encuentra demasiado alejado de las visitas razonables por la zona, lo que unido a algunas carreteras en estado "mejorable" alarga mucho los desplazamientos
