About this cabin rental
Come check out our beautiful "Moonshiner's" log cabin nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Our cabin sits on a pristine ten acres, and is only seven miles away from the Tryon International Equestrian Center.
The freshly renovated Moonshiner's cabin boasts two bedrooms and a den - comfortably sleeping five people. The sleeping arrangements include a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom, and three twin beds in the second bedroom and den.
Enjoy our custom stone shower, and electric fireplace. Please bring your own towels and washcloths.
The cabin also has four zone climate control.
The full kitchen includes a brand new refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, oven/stove, and utensils/flatware.
You will have a firepit, with free firewood, and a large children's sandbox with toys.
Parking is available on-site. There is limited free horse-trailer parking.
The cabin is centrally located, close to Asheville, Lake Lure, Maggie Valley, Forest City, and Tyron.

Unique, rustic cabin in a very quiet location. Lots of wildlife. Within minutes to the Thermal Belt Rail Trail and the town of Rutherfordton. We enjoyed visiting both as well as the Mountain Brook Vineyards for live music and wine tasting. Capt Bob and Hanna were very welcoming hosts! Thank you for making this property available!

We enjoyed staying at the Moonshine cabin so much. It was a great getaway with gem mining and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. The owners were so welcoming.

My mom and I were looking for a quiet and peaceful get-away from the stresses of 2020, and this cabin provided the perfect experience! Hanna greeted us upon our arrival with warmth and hospitality, and showed us the beautiful cabin that she decorated and her husband and grandson built. It is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed a quiet weekend, walking around the property, watching wildlife, and reading and watching movies by the beautiful electric fireplace. The cabin is well-stocked with movies and games for the whole family. The property is lovely, and we look forward to taking advantage of the firepit and screened in game-table on a future return with more of our family. Thanks for a lovely getaway!
