Get your 'Second Wind' in this wonderful Ocracoke Island vacation home. Second Wind is the perfect romantic couples getaway for just two guests. Relax and enjoy the sunshine and warm sea breezes on the waterside decks overlooking a canal with direct access to Pamlico Sound. A partial bulkhead provides both boat docking and easy access to the canal for kayaks, all right at your back door. Distant sound views.
1 Bedroom, 1.5 Baths: The large second floor Primary Suite has a King bed, sitting area, and a small waterside deck. The first floor open layout combines the kitchen, living and dining areas. Half bath is on the first floor and full bath with tub/shower on the second floor.
Additional amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 2 cable TVs and DVD player. Washer and dryer.
Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.
The exterior offers private boat dockage, partial bulkhead, decks, hot/cold outdoor shower, charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench.
No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 2 vehicles.
Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

It started out bad, had to call the real estate office at 5:15 to see if we could check in (was suppose to check in at 5:00). We had been waiting since 4pm to hear from them. After we arrived, the trash was still in the front yard and something had gotten in it. Had to call the real estate office again to let them know.The VRBO was nice and we enjoyed our week. On the last day we decided to go have breakfast at 8am since we were checking out at 10am. When we returned (around 9am) the cleaning lady was in our VRBO cleaning! Our personal items were still in the home!!! Still don't know how this happened and was very upset! I sent a review to the real estate but have not even gotten a reply. Will not use them again!!
