Cabinas Surf Side

The staff was really nice and helpful. I enjoyed staying there. I felt very comfortable. It's nice to have a communal kitchen. And you can walk to anywhere in Cahuita from this location.

The curtain rod was barely long enough so any time I tried to open or close the curtains they would fall down and I would have to carefully put it back up. But that's a very minor thing.

The receptionist and her daughter, I think she was, were both very helpful. She responded quickly to my questions or concerns. They gave me directions and tips. I extended my stay. They laid out towels and soaps very nicely. The wifi was good.

I was a little nervous about the curtain barely covering the window for privacy, but I just had to be careful.

I really enjoyed my time here, this is a super friendly family and there were mellow vibes with everyone that stayed...my room was bigger than I thought it would be and I always had hot water and solid internet to work with...and clean towels and sheets offered any time I needed...just perfect (and thank you!). The cabinas are a stone's throw from everything, yet were probably some of the quietest; I enjoyed mornings with a first coffee, sitting on the bench just outside my door, watching the hummingbirds feeding in the fruit trees...and the company of the sweet cat too! The kitchen was a bonus as there were no rigid rules about times it could be used, important to me as I like to make a coffee early each morning, and the guests treated the communal spaces with respect for each other (which does not always happen elsewhere!). This was a little home from home moment for me and I would happily book again.
