This unit has the best of both worlds – walk-in access at the front door with a 2nd floor balcony overlooking tube town and the Silver Queen ski lift. This is one of very few units in the entire Creekside complex that has this feature – drive right to the door to unload groceries or guests. Ski right to and from your door. Stress-free without the hassle of stairs or elevators. Enjoy the best location with cross-country trails, downhill runs, snowshoeing and dog walking trails right at the doorstep. The shared outdoor hot tub in the Shooting Star building in Creekside is open during the ski season only. For the summer and bike season, there is one hot tub open in the Creekside complex for all guests to use..
BONUS to our guests staying at this condo: Enjoy the extra-large common room on the ground floor. It features two sitting areas, a bookshelf full of books, a full kitchen, and a cozy gas fireplace. You can spread out and have a get together if you are traveling with other people, or with new friends you may make on your holiday.
Your building, Shooting Star features two coin washing machines/two dryers.

Special feature: Our unit has a keyless entry (you will be provided the access code prior to arrival). This makes it convenient for you to arrive at any time after check-in time - so if you want to check in late or come a day early arriving late at night - you could just make first tracks in the morning.
Your hosts live at Silver Star, so we can ensure your holiday is everything you expected. We are also available to provide you with our "insider" tips so that you will love Silver Star as much as we do.

The location of the suite is excellent. The provided directions on how to get around in the resort were a little vague but everything made more sense in the daytime. We feel the mattress, pillows, and linens in the master bedroom could use an update since they weren't very comfortable. The beds in the second bedroom were better.
One thing we found strange is that on the last day of our stay, a gratuity envelope from the cleaning crew appeared on the kitchen counter. It wasn't there before so I guess the crew came in and left it while we were on the mountain. We've never seen this in any other places we've rented through VRBO, or other sites, and we felt the cleaning fee we were being charged was more than enough to cover this. We used to do short-term rentals ourselves and we never, ever asked the guests to provide a gratuity to the cleaning crew.
