About this house rental
The house is located in Burgundy in the heart of an exceptional environment and forest, in the center of a small village very quiet close to shops. With a capacity of 7 to 9 people, it offers an ideal setting for well-being and tranquility, for a romantic stay or a family two hours from Paris.
It has a bright living room with parquet flooring and French ceiling and a kitchen fully equipped white tomettes including hob 4 burners, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, mini oven, blender, espresso machine, kettle, toaster, and for the little ones, 2 booster seats as well as a convertible high chair.
Also on the ground floor, the bathroom has been designed with maximum simplicity. Very spacious, it offers a large corner bath and linen. At the back, on the garden side, the laundry room gives a breath of fresh air. It includes washing machine, tumble dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board and a large storage space with provision of a fondue, raclette, stone grill, pancake and mini pancake maker. table, electric barbecue, for large festive tables in the warm atmosphere of the wood stove or to enjoy moments of conviviality, in the green and welcoming intimacy of the garden, in the company of birds.
Three contemporary rooms with a floor in old renovated tiles are upstairs. Pleasantly spacious and cozy, they are also well arranged around a library. The master bedroom (large bed 140x190 + 1 small beds and / or 1 bed umbrella optional) has a beautiful open fireplace: it communicates with that of children (3 small beds 190 x 90, one with a barrier of cot). A bedroom-office with a large double bed 140 x 190 opens onto the garden, with a view overlooking the terrace.
Activities & Outings
The house is near the most beautiful walks or bike. It is ideally located for:
- outdoor activities or ecological interest (freshwater fishing, crayfish fishing, bird watching, flowers and farm animals, hiking in the Bertranges forest)
- Sports activities (tennis, cycling, running)
- cultural outings or ecological interest with, around, the Butte aux orchids (5 minutes, see a fortiori May to July), the natural reserve of Mardelles de Premery (10 minutes), La Charité-sur- Loire (UNESCO book town) (20 minutes), vineyards and wine cellar visits (Pouilly-sur-Loire, Sancerre) (30 minutes), the medieval castle of Guédelon (55 minutes ) and the Basilique de Vézelay (1h).
