About this house rental

Lovely cottage in Rome City Indiana located close to Sylvan Lake. Sylvan Lake is a 700-acre all sports lake, where you can enjoy jet skis, swimming, fishing, skiing or just boating around the 16 miles of shoreline. There is a nature preserve on The Big Island, accessible by boat with over 2 miles of hiking trails. Gene Stratton-Porter State Memorial Park, Sylvan Cellars Event Center and Mother Mercy Event Center is a short drive away. The Cottage is a short walk to the public boat ramps, grocery store and bait shop. The Cottage has a big yard to park your cars and boat trailer. Cottage is furnished with ac, wifi, new carpet and new appliances. One queen bed room downstairs, finished loft with double, single and another portable queen if you need it.

As always, the cottage is immaculately clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. The rain last night on the metal roof took us right back to our childhood grandparents’ homes. We’ve been renting this cottage for at least 5 years and we’ll continue renting this one as long as it’s available. You’ll not find a more accommodating host in all of your VRBO rental searches.

The cottage was nice, neat and comfortable. David was very easy to communicate with and the overall experience was great. If we ever get back out that way, we would certainly stay there again.
