Les Appartements du 10 is located in the centre of Rochefort, only 5 min walking from the central square. The friendly owners live in the house next door, and come over to hand you the keys. Apartment contains a sleeping/sitting room and a separate kitchen with all amenities, including oven, ceramic hotplates, and all kinds of ustensils. Easy to prepare your own dinner and breakfast, especially with two supermarkets just around the corner to do your shopping. Comfortable bed, good internet. Sufficient parking space is available in the street, often directly in front of the apartment. Parking is free during the weekend and after 19:00 on weekdays, otherwise paid. Nearby are the Corderie Royale and the Charente river. Walks in and around the city (along the Charente) can be started right from your door step.
A reading lamp would be nice for some direct lighting in the living room (and cosy, too). A small desk or table to support your laptop (as it was, we moved the kitchen table to and fro) would be a helpful addition.
