About this campground/ rv resort rental

We are the only RV park on I-70 that is just 5 miles from the Moab exit! We are close to the scenic Book Cliffs. Many people who have Toy haulers , love to camp here because they can set up camp and ride hundreds of miles from the RV park. We are only 3 miles from some of the worlds best 4500 year old Indian paintings. In the little ghost town of Thompson Springs we have a well stocked convenience store that is only 3/4 mile from the RV park. Herds of antelope wander through the park and the nearby Book Cliffs are famous for buffalo herds. 10 miles to the south are some of the worlds best dinosaur tracks.

Enjoyed staying here. Very nice facilities. Close to Moab without being in the craziness of springtime in Moab.

We wanted to get away to Moab for spring break. Of course Moab is hot spot for spring break. We didn't want to be in the crowds of Moab but wanted to be close to the area with options to explore on our dirt bikes. This was the perfect place! Only 40 minutes to Moab and 35 minutes to Arches. Nice and quiet with not all the congestion of Moab. You can ride your bikes out of the park into the canyon and explore Indian petroglyphs, old abandoned mining towns and dinosaur tracks and eggs. Plus we were close enough to take a day trip into Arches National Park. We didn't end up doing Moab.. too much to explore in the canyon. The park is clean. The shower/ bathroom facilities very clean and tidy. They have wifi but it is very spotty - but what do you expect in the middle of nowhere. We took a 26 foot toy hauler. The sites are very long and flat with gravel - loved that not so dirty. The camp hosts are wonderful - very friendly and helpful - giving us ideas what to do and where to go. The VBRO listing said no pets but you can bring your pets in your trailer. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the cabin we stayed in. Perfect size for a family or a group. It had everything we needed and was nice and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
