The facilities at Mariners Cove were great, we went from back door to the pool. Pool, game room, pier, and hot tub were great. The only thing lacking was lack of routine maintenance, the dish washer was terrible it was loose and someone had the wrong lower shelf in it with half the prongs broken off held very few plates, one toilet rocked terribly, toilet paper holder loose so the roll fell on the floor unusable, drain pop up did not work, no switched light in one bedroom, and kitchen dishes were a mismatch hodgepodge. The owner needs to spend a couple dollars and make it as outstanding as the complex!

This is a very nice property in a great location. Check -in was a little confusing. Our group rented 2 vrbo's , one of which had an easy check in, just unlocked a key box on property. Our VRBO, through Bare Foot Rentals, required a check-in 10 miles away in which we were basically given a code (this easily could have been over phone). The townhome itself was located in a perfect location on the resort, steps away from the large pool. The rooms were nice as well as the decor. The interior walls were not the best, as you could hear people talking in other rooms. The noise from the outside was non-existent...very quiet. The view from the top floor screened in balcony was fantastic, and even the 1st floor balcony still had a nice view of pool. The resort was gated, and very secure. Everyone we met was nice and easy going , exactly opposite of the East coast rudeness you find in Del Mar and Ft Lauderdale (more like Naple's friendliness). The restaurants and bars in the area were very nice (the resort across the hwy was a short walk for great sunsets...pricey, but very nice). Most resorts/bars had music during 4-6 happy hour, and if you want a more party atmosphere on the weekend, go to the bars near the Caribbean Club (characters galore, cheap beer as compared to the resorts, great music. Kind of a Star Wars type bar). The pool was great, but expect a steady 20-30 mph wind in some parts of pool. The difference from the east side of Key Largo to west side was about 10 degrees and a ton of humidity. South end of pool was very windy, while north end was very calm. Some of our friends rented the 4 bedroom condos, which were amazing inside, but almost twice the price . This trip was in March of 2022, right before spring break. I would rent this condo again, just wish interior walls were better insulated.
