Apartment im Chalet Sidonie

Het chalet biedt alle nodige faciliteiten om goed en ontspannen te verblijven, inclusief een keukentje met oven, Nespresso en waterkoker, douche/bad en wasmachine, tv en wifi. Het voelde voor ons gezin telkens als thuiskomen. Met een prachtig uitzicht op het bergdorp Amden, de Walen See en omringende bergen. Het chalet is goed bereikbaar met de auto en heeft ook een parkeerplaats. Wij reisden met openbaar vervoer; bus en trein is uitstekend in Zwitserland en kinderen tot 16 jaar reizen gratis. 10-15 minuten lopen van chalet naar bushalte in Amden. Daar is tevens stoeltjeslift hoger naar de Mattstogg (2.000 m) toe; ideaal voor wandelen/klimmen/afdalen, zeker ook met kinderen. Bovenaan bij stoeltjeslift is een restaurant.

A huge and well equipped apartment with a stunnning panorama, and an extremely friendly host. I can strongly recommend it!! Getting the key was also unique for me: with the key safe in the village center, you can move into your apartment in any time, even if you arrive late - you won't have to disturb the host. Great!!

The bed in the master bedroom is the most uncomfortable one I have slept in the last 10 years. I barely got any sleep whilst I was there. Also I highly recommend you bring your own pillows!! The driveway has not been cleared properly during previous snow and it has become all icy. It took us almost an hour to get out of it the second day and hurt my back in the process of removing the 10cm thick ice.
