Villa Aphrodite is a grand, classically styled retreat set among pine and olive trees above Mon Repos – just around 5 minutes by car from Corfu Town, yet wonderfully peaceful and private.

The setting:
Set in its own private, gated garden on a green hillside of pines and olive trees, Villa Aphrodite looks out over the sea channel to the Greek mainland, the coast of Albania and the famous fortress above Corfu Town. Below the villa you’ll find Mon Repos Park and the historic Kardaki spring by the sea, with swimming spots and walking paths right on your doorstep.
Corfu Town (Old Town) with its UNESCO-listed alleyways, shops, restaurants and nightlife is an easy drive away, and there’s also a local blue bus stop roughly 800 m from the villa if you prefer not to drive.

Designed in the style of a grand Corfiot residence, the interiors combine cool Greek marbles with warm oak and comfortable furnishings for a refined yet homely atmosphere.

The pool and views from the terrace are excellent and beautiful. Outside areas made up for some internal issues. Kitchen and bathrooms could be updated. Toilet tissue cannot be flushed so be aware it all has to go in bins. 5th bedroom in basement is not ideal as bunk beds in with washing machine/no view. It would be beneficial to have a car as the property is on a steep hill and it is a ten minute walk down steep steps to buses and local shop. Very steep steps down to rocky cove, not a sandy beach. Host lives within property and was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The house is charming home on magnificent location and great view of Corfu bay. The area is great to visit but the best in the location was the owner who really make us feels at home. Mina cares deeply about her guests and she went all way to help us during our stay.

I implore you to stay at villa Aphrodite if planning a trip to Corfu. Obvious conveniences - close to the airport, walkable to Corfu town, and the property is absolutely gorgeous.
It's the home of a wonderful woman named Mina, who has a separate apartment on the property, and makes your stay all the better. Aside from respecting your privacy, we arrived to a home-cooked meal from her, homemade bakalava, and she was incredibly helpful in organizing various amenities during our stay. These include massages, transportation (shout out to Stamatis!), cleaning services upon request, car rental (car delivered and picked up at the villa), and Mina even drove us for quick trips nearby! She's such a wonderful woman, vacation grandmother, and homestay host. She cared so much about our needs, our privacy, and made our trip so much better, and easier! Mina, her team, and their driver Stamatis, plan all your transportation, including airport arrivals and departures. They even track your flights if your group travels on various airlines and times. So if someone is delayed, they already know and will adjust pick up times without you worrying about a thing!
And to reiterate - the property itself is beautiful. Mina takes such good care of her villa, and the outdoor areas and pool are breathtaking. Hiking paths next off the property lead to cliffside beaches and a beautiful stone dock you can hang out on and swim for hours.
