From the moment that you enter our historic building you will feel the charm and elegance of the old city. Enjoy a newly built apartment and your own private rooftop terrace with beautiful ocean views fanned by the Caribbean breeze. Ideally located in the heart of the historic old city and within the walls that once surrounded a Viceroy's compound you will be served with 24 hour security and power (even a back up generator). You will be enchanted by the splendor of the sea and the charm of the colonial streets full of magic and color. Administration will charge a fee of $30,000 colombian pesos to identify you as a guest per person please pay it at arrival time.
The owners have 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and know how to provide the comfort you deserve.
Within walking distance of historic sites, fine dining, lively nightlife, the convention center, Pegasus pier, the Heredia theater, shopping malls, five star hotels and just 10 minutes from the airport, Bocagrande and the beaches.

The complex has two swimming pools, one just for adults and another for the children, a fitness room, two indoor Saunas and three Jacuzzis with one located on a shared terrace with sea and sunset views. The tropical gardens are cool and relaxing with the peaceful sound of falling water.
The apartment is located in the most exclusive area of Cartagena, providing peace, tranquility and relaxation. The complex has a full security system with closed circuit cameras and a receptionist 24 hours a day.
La Casa del Virrey Eslava is one of Cartagena's most significant historical sites and has retained it?s 17th century colonial facade. Renovated in 2009, the complex is completely modernized inside without breaking the harmony of its historical value. This was the residence of Viceroy Sebastian de Eslava who commanded Spanish colonies from here as the king?s appointed Viceroy of New Granada from April 24, 1740 until November 6, 1749 .

The host was incredibly responsive and kept in constant communication, making the whole stay seamless. She even made sure the driver, Robert, was ready when my flight was delayed, and Maria, the housekeeper, was so kind—she had a cake waiting for my birthday! The home itself is comfortable, cozy, and spotless. The location is perfect—within walking distance to everything—and it feels very safe with 24/7 security. It’s such a tranquil place to return to after a day of activities. I would absolutely stay here again!

Thank you, we truly had an amazing stay. The host, Osiris, was extremely pleasant to interact with, she made sure our stay in Cartagena would be unforgettable, facilitating the admission with security, the check-in and the housekeeping with Maria, who was also very nice with us.The location is unbeatable!! The condo is located on the same street as fine restaurants like DonJuan or Maria and hip bars like LaJugada or Alquimico, and only a couple of streets from most other super nice restaurants (LaCevicheria…). We attended a 4-day wedding and most reception places were either on the same street as the condo, or on the next one.The condo is decorated with taste and everything was functioning and as described: independent AC units and ceiling fans in each room, 2.5 bathrooms, washing machine, terrace with a splendid view, cable TV, etc. Small details to make your life easier extended to providing a small safe for passports, and even a steamer & an ironing board(!!). We didn’t have time to try it, but we saw people enjoying the outdoor pool. Everything was made to make us feel at home, and there is even a cookbook with meals Maria can prepare for the guests.We couldn’t recommend a better place to stay in the old city in Cartagena and a nicer host to interact with from abroad.
