Amboseli Eco Camp

Friendly price, awesome location and wonderful staff.

Facilities such as the bathroom having poor drainage and the room missing a window pane. I had to improvise to prevent insects from entering.

I am aware that its an eco camp and actually a nice experience, i have read not so good reviews and had low expectations but during our stay we had a decent and good time. They dont have wifi at all so you must have ample data, its a good detox i must say. We have a very nice view of Mt. Kilimanjaro in our balcony, the room itself is big.. Bed and pillows are comfy, there are sockets to charge your gadgets. No bidet in the toilet but hot shower in the middle of nowhere is a major plus! It was quiet and peaceful, hearing so many birds chirping which is so relaxing. They have mosquito nets, yet surprisingly no bugs or mosquitoes. We stayed a night, month of September, t'was chilly and had rainshowers all night, we slept well. It was kind of muddy in the morning but still doable to walk.. Food is good and yummy in my liking, apart from bfast other meals aren't included, gotta pay them cash. So far the staff are polite and helpful, check in and out were both smooth. We requested and they provided airport pick up and naivasha drop off, with a decent price but dont expect a big car but did the job. You will see giraffee, on the way casually hanging out on the side of the road. The road going to the eco camp is kind of bumpy. If you decide to go Amboseli Eco Park, its about 30mins drive. We had a good stay, so i do recommend them😊
