A fun time was had in Huntington! We stay in this area often and this was one of the best rentals yet. The cleanest by far! This area sees a high number of people and the homes usually reflect that! But this house was so clean and well maintained! High quality bedding and towels! You can tell the hosts really care about the guest experience. Kitchen was well stocked we cooked more than we normally would. Having a bbq was an added bonus! We got to meet the owners and learn some fun history of the house. We will definitely save this house for future trips!

There was a change in number of guests allowed from 10 as advertised to 8 which I was never notified of until a month before date of arrival only because I asked about air mattress. We had a problem with last step down to floor which was hard to see n one person tripped n one person fell off the step n hurt her wrists knees. Not sure how this step can be highlighted as a warning. Everything else was good n we enjoyed our stay.

Great place! Easy walk to the beach and downtown. Beach equipment provided. Large dining room table for our whole family to sit at. Hosts were right next door and very friendly and helpful. We are definitely going back next summer.

It was a great beach house! We could walk to the beach and downtown! The only thing we were disappointed in was after buying groceries we found that the grill needed to be replaced so it took way longer to cook our dinners.

We had a great stay! The rental was clean, exactly as pictured, and in a fantastic location. There was plenty of space in the communal areas with lots of comfortable seating, making it perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also very spacious. It had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The owners were very communicative, and check-in and check-out were seamless. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying here! We initially booked because we were supposed to attend a wedding. However, the wedding got cancelled last minute. Despite that, this warm and welcoming property proved to be an amazing getaway for my fiance and I. We enjoyed all the cool spots within walking distance of the house and loved just relaxing on the beach.

The house is wonderful and in the heart of Huntington Beach. We stayed with 2 children and another family of 4 and found the house very spacious especially with the numerous bathrooms. The shops, bars and beach are all within 5 - 10 minutes walk. I highly recommend this place.

Jeff & Julie had been great hostages! The house has all what you need for an enjoyable holiday plus the kindness of both Jeff & Julie to assist as right away. A special note of gratitude to them, who were extremely emphatic with us when dealing with our following destination as we were heading to the Wildefire zone that affected LA so dramatically. The house and location were great! I would definitely stay here again. Had an issue with the trash bins and the neighbor which wasn't pleasant. He waited in our backyard until someone came home and surprised my kids as they came in through the back gate. I did not appreciate that at all. It was very creepy. I notified the property manager immediately. Blanca, was very responsive when we let her know the TV upstairs wasn't working, she immediately came over tried the TV for herself and brought over a new one that same day. She also brought us another fan a couple days later when I told her 3 of the 5 fans in the house were broken. Fans are a must in the rooms during those hot days. The house was beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice meal. I would love to stay here again for sure.

What a great stay and a fantastic house! Property manager was very responsive and nice. We had the house full with family and it was so close to everything. If renting and planning on enjoying the beach I would Recommend brining beach towels and chairs etc for the beach. We lucked out as another family member had a different rental with all these supplies. House was very clean and beautifully decorated.

Great location. Good living room seating. Gas fireplace, multiple TVs, half bath downstairs. Upstairs can get warm, and the air conditioner didn’t help. Slept with windows open but can hear people throughout the night. But, this not uncommon for most rentals throughout the area. Overall, great place!

We stayed at the Getaway II for 12 days for a family of 10, it fit everyone comfortably. Location was walking distance to both Huntington Beach and Main Street. The downtown area had so many places to choose from for dining, happy hour, and shopping. The home was clean and well decorated, we used the outside grill several nights which was great. Only areas that may have been made our stay more comfortable would be, having functioning fans in all rooms, during our stay there was a heat wave which made it uncomfortable some nights. Also, having accessibility to cleaning supplies, such as surface cleaner and floor cleaners. Towards the end of our stay the floors became sticky and needed a good clean. Overall we had a great time and our stay was great, we would definitely stay again.

This is our 2nd year coming to HB for the 4th of July. This house is located in the near perfect location for this time of year. It was a short walk down to the parade route and only a 5 minute (max) walk to the beach and other downtown activities and restaurants. House has plenty of space to host a good sized group and sleep 8 - 10 very comfortably. Having a garage to park in was a nice bonus as well and having the extra space behind the garage was great for guests as well. There was only a few things we thought could have been better. There was no propane for the gas grill and when asked if they had any extra they said no. This was not ideal as grilling on the 4th is pretty much required we think. Getting through the crowds and finding another tank nearby and in time was difficult to say the least. The property manager, after she was contacted and notified did not offer any help at all. That was odd but stuff happens. Just make sure you verify it is full if you go and are expecting to grill. Also, while the house is well situated and accommodated our group well, the final touches are somewhat missing. The soap dispensers in the restrooms and kitchen were all out or nearly out. There was very very little dish soap remaining as well. There was only 4 -5 trash bags left for us. There was no bar soaps or other items normally found in houses at this cost. The TP was very cheap single ply type paper. Again..these are very critical and detailed items..not the end of world stuff here; just in order for it to have been perfect, the owner can upgrade some of the small touches and verify other items are in stock. Overall, a great solid location and with some very minor tweaks, could be a near perfect rental.

Loved the house. We parked cars in the garage, around 10pm street parking was available we would park on the street. When our friends came to visit they got the garage parking. House came with everything you need. Only thing even with fans the house is very hot 10am-5pm. The way the house sits you don't get a breeze. The house came with fans, I also brought 4 of my own. I would however would rent it again..

Loved this place! We had my family of four and my brothers family of four and my mom. We had plenty of room and bathrooms! Even a extra twin bed empty. The location was perfectly easy to get to the beach and the Main Street where all the bar, shops and restaurants are. The cars stayed parked and we walked everywhere. We went to Disneyland one of the days and it was a 23 min drive, it was so perfect!!! I would definitely stay again! The owners (Ashley) was easy to get a hold of if you needed anything. The beds were incredible comfortable, I usually don't sleep good away from home and the four nights we were there was best sleep I've had in years. It was our favorite family trip so far!!! Thank you again Ashley!!!
