About this house rental
This wonderful Beach House is well furnished and equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable, worry-free holiday so all you need to do is relax and enjoy the activities and beautiful weather of Magnetic Island.
Idle Days Beach House is fully fenced and secure, perfect for young families. It is also set up as a special pet friendly home with kennel, verandahs and even a cat scratching tower if you bring along your feline friends as well.
There is plenty of covered outdoor space with front verandah (lovely for breakfast and lazing on the hammock) and the back veranda (perfect in the afternoons for a cool down beverage and dinner). The back verandah has a comfortable outdoor lounge, dining table, servery, webber, gas BBQ and full size outdoor fridge!
It really feels like a home away from home and is a only 3 minute drive from the beachfront, boat ramp, watersports, shops, hotel and cafes.

Plenty of outdoor space both back and front areas, beautiful big fully undercover verandahs, outdoor fridge a huge bonus, excellent seating, quiet area, walking distance to Horseshoe Bay, plenty of room for 6 people (bit of a push with one small bathroom) outdoor shower was bliss, would definitely go back if it was available.

On the plus side, if you are travelling with pets, this place has fully enclosed yard with grass and good outdoor facilities (seating & bbq area) and is very pet friendly. The house itself is of basic design, cheaply furnished with very small bedrooms and soft saggy beds. The sofa is so uncomfortable, for example, you would not want to sit on it at all. However, it is just a few minutes to Horseshoe Bay with bars and cafes and all the outdoor activities.
If you don't intend to spend much time indoors and are travelling with pets then you might want to consider this place but to be honest there are nicer and better value places on the island.
