Escape to Lake Hartwell and enjoy our spacious 4,200-square-foot, three-story home, designed for family vacations, Clemson weekends, boating trips, and relaxing getaways with friends.
Located in Fair Play, South Carolina, we're less than 90 minutes from Atlanta and approximately 25 minutes from Clemson. With a private dock and boat slip, multiple decks, seasonal lake views, firepit, large entertaining spaces, and plenty of room to spread out, this is a wonderful place to gather and enjoy time together.

The heart of the home is our spacious, fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast before heading to the lake or cooking dinner for the entire family, you'll have plenty of room.
The kitchen features an oversized refrigerator/freezer, five-burner gas range, pot filler, double apron-front sink, dishwasher, wet bar, and wine cooler.
Step directly onto the deck and fire up the large gas grill for an easy outdoor dinner.
Our large dining room features an oversized table that seats 6 guests, making it perfect for family dinners, celebrations, card games, and evenings spent together.
After dinner, relax in the comfortable living room with a gas fireplace, TV, and stereo.

With bedrooms located throughout the home, families and groups can enjoy time together while still having their own space.
Third-Floor Primary Suite
A peaceful retreat with a king bed and seasonal views toward Lake Hartwell. The private ensuite bathroom features a beautiful claw-foot soaking tub, dual vanities, separate water closet, and walk-in shower.
Second-Floor Primary Suite
Queen bed, private ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the deck. Step outside and unwind on the swing while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The ensuite includes a Jacuzzi tub, dual vanities, separate water closet, and walk-in shower.
Second-Floor Bedroom
Daybed accommodating up to two guests, direct access to a private deck with a swing, and a shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
Second-Floor Queen Bedroom
Queen bed with direct access to the deck and hammock. Shares the Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

Please note: The walk between the house and dock is short but steep. It may be challenging for elderly guests or anyone with mobility limitations. We want guests to be aware of this before booking.

This house was big enough for our group of 7. There was a lot of room for everyone to have their own relaxing space. I would definitely recommend.

The house is perfect for a large family or group. We enjoyed our stay. The weak points, for the owner's knowledge, were understocked kitchen supplies (no storage containers with lids, almost empty saran wrap or aluminum foil), uncomfortable beds and old smelling comforters, large spiders all around the decking(could be power washed with the house prep), aged outdoor furniture and weathered cushions, the pot filler above the stove served rusted water, carpet stains. The lake access is not on the property as it appears in the photos. The living area on the 3rd floor should be clearly stated for the elderly.

We enjoyed 4 days celebrating our grandson 's earning his Master 's degree. The house was comfortable although the steps were a bit of aa problem for some of the older people but we had a great time.

The property was beautiful. However, the communication with the host and Vrbo was one of the worst experiences that we have encountered. The first experience was a lockout. The host wasn’t available and there were no support from the support team instead of blaming us about unnecessary rhetoric at the time of a hour lockout. We had to come up with our own solution. Also, with internet complications, the intervention was lack of communication or convenient plans in play. The boys also complained about a mice problem downstairs. One the other hand, the place has potentials. It was lovely. It quite homey and tranquil. A pleasant environment.
