Superb location, with direct bedroom view of the medieval abby, lit up at night. Lovely community atmosphere among other residents & shared play area. Canoe hire on the adjacent scenic gentle stream.
It took 15 minutes & 3 trips back to the office before we we offered a free map to finally locate our chalet. I had to complain to Booking com about a message regarding an addition deposit & charges for cleaning, sheets and towels, long after booking, so we were never charged extra. Dated furnishings reminded me of school trips to cheaper hostels.

The site & surroundings are beautiful.
Booked late so limited choice of availability. Stayed in a very dated ‘bungalow’ - our choice so our fault! Otherwise very pleasant.
