Peaceful place with good facilities.

We enjoyed our six days here. In early September it's a quiet part of the coast with some lovely beaches. The property had all we needed. The pool was a little small but provided welcome cooling dips and the hot tub was lovely. The main bedroom opened on to the lovely terrace whereas the smaller bedroom had a single window and no storage but a good size bed. Great smart TV. A car is essential. We hadn't realised that the property is on a cliff so although close to the coast we needed our car to reach the seafront.

Unfortunately our host never met us although he did quickly respond by messages when we had questions (and his father kindly stayed at the roadside when we had trouble locating the property). Some info about the place and the area would have been helpful but there was nothing left at the property at all. Consequently we felt less welcome and cared for than at other places we've stayed. The website info says "Located a few steps from Aliori Beach" but this is just not true. The property is on a cliff and there is no close path down.

We would definitely love to come back!

The peaceful location and breathtaking views made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Vasilis was an outstanding host – friendly, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed. He shared great local tips, restaurant suggestions, and places to visit, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We felt at home from the very first moment. We would return in a heartbeat and truly recommend Orion to anyone looking for a beautiful and authentic escape in Crete. The place was quiet, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a productive business trip. Great location, fast Wi-Fi, and a responsive host — ideal for working remotely while traveling. Superb

The host (Vasili) is absolutely kind. He cooked something for us as welcome. The house is exactly as described. And the position is great (no noise, sea view, etc.) To go to the various beaches (all very beautiful) it's good to have a means of transport.

We were very pleased during our stay at Orionas! Everything was excellent! Perfect location, such a quiet place! Well decorated! The owner Vasilis was always available for questions and he gave us very useful advices about the area and our activities! We will be back soon! We had such a great time!

Exceptional

we had wonderful days at the house and Vasilis the landlord was very friendly and helpful. We were able to do all the things we wanted to do - snorkeling, swimming and hiking, tasting the delicious food at the tavernas and pouring the wonderful view from the varanda of the house. The house is perfectly equipped - all rooms are very nice - we really enjoyed our time there - we definitely want to come back

Very nice owner, friendly and supportive to all questions. The place is nice and quite, recommend rather for 2-3 persons than 4. Has 3 bicycles and telescope (the night sky is impressive), fireplace and nice garden with some herbs and all kind of plants and trees. Tsoutsouros is beautiful and very interesting history, lot of fossils around and plenty of sandy or pebble beaches. Also a lot to detect in the region by care and by foot and lovely people around.

A pleasant stay

the amazing outdoor facilities was the best of the villa. There were beautiful gardens which we watered with pleasure. There also is an excellent outside shower. For greater relaxation there was a very nice hamac and, weather and moon permitting, there is a telescope. So all in all, brilliant outside facilities with lots of different spaces to lie in whether in or out of the sun.

I really could not get my head around the toilet in the shower. Generally the bathroom fittings are very tired and the villa windows need some attention.

A wonderful break...within 24 hours we felt like it was our own holiday home.
