Friendly staff, beautiful and authentic hut, very basic amenities.

Authentic, close to nature, clean, great location for the beach nearby. Staff were great - helping us with laundry, taxis, bicycles and recommendations nearby.

If you are looking for a very basic, clean place to stay, this property is great. Do not expect luxury and be prepared to encounter some small wildlife in your bathroom :)

Exceeded the expectations, perfect!

Had a very pleasant stay, we even wanted to extend it, but it was fully booked. Super friendly owners, cozy house, feels like created with love. They even had candles from mosquitoes. 100% recommend.

Excelent place where to stay.

The location is very quiet and away from crowded street, yet with just a short walk you reach the main street or beach where everything is easily accessible. Because the rooms are surrounded by trees, they stayed pleasantly cool even during the day. I highly recommend choosing a Superior Room, as the standard rooms are quite old and basic. The Superior Rooms are much brighter, with windows and better overall equipment. We especially appreciated having a fridge in the room and the hammocks, which were a lovely touch. The host is a very kind and helpful lady who quickly found a solution to a small issue we had. Our favorite little companion was the small guy Happy — he truly made our stay even more enjoyable.

The huts are very close to each other so you can wake up with the alarm of your neighbours, or noises. The bungalow is not completely isolated from outside by walls so lots of mosquitoes in.

The owners were VERY friendly and helpful when booking tours/ferries.

There were people in the hut next to us who like to smoke and the smoke would always come into our hut. It might be nice to have a smoking area away from the huts.

Cute place

Very nice and attentive staff, helped out when we got sick. Nice little jungle around the huts.

Some of the huts have metal roof, ours did. When it rains you can hear every drop, same goes to falling leaves. The place have no breakfast options and the closest ones are about 10minute walk away. The hut construction very loud, every step sounded like an elephant walking.

Had a lovely stay. Absolutely fantastic!!! Very welcoming people, beautiful bungalow, clean, spacious and very cosy. Thank you for teaching me to ride a scooter. Had a lovely day. See you next time!

Nothing about property. All is good. The only thing that two girls who lived in front of my bungalow kept in noisy- really loud talking outside bungalow and smashing doors instead of closing gently- early morning and every late night (til close to midnight). Only last night of my stay they cooled down. People comes to relax and great that all other guests were fine.

Very good if your expectations are aligned

Nice hut in a jungle setting, dont expect any luxury. It was peaceful. Bed was comfy. Walking distance to shops. Easy access via scooter. Away from road, so quiet. Warm water in the shower. There was a mosquito net which is definitely needed. Fan is enough. Night wasnt too hot.

There is no insulation, this is a wooden hut, so dont expect privacy. There can be ants or bugs, which didnt bother me, since it is in the middle of nature. Would be great to have a desk lamp or similar with low, warm light.

Dahla Lanta Hut is an amazing place to stay, such nice and accomodating hosts, beautiful scenery, and very close to town

It was secluded while being in the centre of town, my family and I booked 2 rooms, right across from each other, and were able to easily go back and forth.

Nothing, they were so accomodating, even gave us citronella coils upon request, very helpful. We also paid for everything upfront, which let us leave without delay early in the morning.

Peaceful bungalow in nature spot

I had an amazing experience here! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything I needed. I originally planned to stay for a few days but ended up staying two weeks because I loved it so much. The bungalows are clean and comfortable, with services like laundry, bike rental, and cleaning on request. But at the same time you feel united with nature and enjoy peaceful birdsongs and crickets chirping every now and then. The location is great — just a 10-minute walk to the beach, perfect for morning swims and beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend renting a bike and visiting the nearby national park and the southern beaches. Thank you to the owner and her lovely family for their hospitality — I felt safe and truly at home here. Would definitely come back!

I loved it so much I decided to stay in dahla lanta hut for an extra week. I loved the location, and the authentic hut ❤️ the room was spacious, bed was comfy and the island is fabulous 😍 .the owners are friendly and go beyond exceptional service ☺️

Very quiet, clean, beautiful.

I recommand 100%. Pretty, calm, clean. The bungalow is a lovely minimalistic place : everything you need for a cosy and simple life. The bed on the floor is fantastic. The balcony with the hamac is charming, all around is green, beautiful and peacefull, but also close to the main road and near the beach. The owner is discret, kind and particularly helpfull. I was suppose to stay 1 night but I enjoyed more than 10 days.

Loved my little cabin

Lovely family running this accommodation. They provide breakfast and other meals. Good location in the countryside but within a few minutes to restaurants and beautiful beaches. Motorbike rental. Cosy cabin with a hammock surrounded by trees,perfect to relax. Privacy and comfy bed. Loved every minute of my stay!

The family was really kind, welcoming and helpful. The stay was amazing and we recommend it to everyone. The only thing is that you’re in the middle of nature and sometimes here creepy noises. For that kind of money it is definitely worth it. We also got a nail in our motorbike and they fixed it immediately so that was amazing as well.

Absolutely amazing this place. We arrived there a little bit sick from the day before, so we took the AC room. the rooms are basic but lovely. you are surrounded by trees and nature. the owner of the house welcomed us with a warm smile and tried to help us with everything. we def recommend this place 100%. Rooms were clean and equipped with a fridge as well :).

Sumptuously! Solid advantages for such a loyal price A bungalow deep in the street, but close to everything - to sleep quietly. It is important! Very beautiful silence at night. The canopy against mosquitoes is installed correctly and does not interfere with sleep! The hostess and her family are very friendly, give free water, tea and coffee. We offered wonderful bikes for rent at the best price - new cool bikes! In general, the hotel exceeded expectations - extended for another 2 days!

Bellissima capanna nella giungla :D

Sicuramente una bella capanna immersa nella giungla per una esperienza molto wild. Ho apprezzato moltissimo amaca, dentro c'è un ventilatore e non c'è caldo. Certo è una capanna senza i muri chiusi, quindi possono entrare molti animali (specialmente in bagno), specialmente il primo giorno è entrato un geco, poi una rana e ultima sera una grossa scolopendra. Quindi se si ha paura degli animali è meglio prendere un'altra versione di casetta con tutte le pareti ben sigillate. Nel bagno c'è un foro di scarico che credo che sia da li che entrino tutti gli animali. Bellissima esperienza nel complesso, il personale è molto gentile, quando tardava ad arrivare il mio van si sono subito interessati, davvero onesti e professionali e sempre gentilissimi! Vicino ci sono spiagge molto belle, il posto in se è molto tranquillo.

Consiglierei di mettere delle piccole griglie nei buchi di scarico in bagno, così acqua può fluire fuori ma non entrano scolopendre la notte.

Las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado por lo que no era aguantable estar ahí, tuve que pedir irme y cancelar mi estadia. La persona en recepción lo aceptó por lo que estoy agradecida. Tuve que pagar 1 noche ya que no habían alojamientos disponibles en otros lugares. El precio es demasiado caro para no ofrecer aire acondicionado, y las cabañas son muy pequeñas e incomodas, como inestables por su materialidad liviana, no bien aisladas tampoco, se veía hacia afuera y escuchaba todo
