    I arrived here after three days in Haeundae Beach, Busan, and it was exactly what I wanted and needed. Leaving perhaps Korea's busiest, loudest sunmer beach and coming to Zio Resort in Yangyang capped off a wonderful east coast exploration for me. Zio Pinetree Resort is immaculately clean and the my room was wonderful - big, open, spacious with a giant bed and ocean views that showed the sun rising over the sea each morning. The bathroom was big and the shower held me captive - like a Western shower that you could just stand under and not worry about the entire bathroom getting soaked like in many small Korea hotels. The lady at the front desk spoke very good English and helped me with everything, including the free laundry services and directions to shops and beaches. I even got 3 free vouchers I could use on snacks and drinks, plus 2 free bottles of water per day. I've seen some people say they were surprised by the distance from Zio Resort to the beach. I kind of disagree. You can see the two photos I included: one is from the beach looking back at the resort. The other is from the resort looking to the exact same spot at the beach. It's a 10 minute walk along roads with barely any traffic and to be honest, the walk was one of my favourite things each day. If you're coming with lots of stuff, then I imagine you'll be driving, so you can drive 2 minutes to the beach. If you're packing light and bot carrying anything, then the 10 minute walk is very relaxing. If you want to be in amongst the action and the restaurants and cafes and things "happening", then the southern end of Hajodae Beach is where you might want to stay for closeness to beach and amenities. If, like me, you want quiet relaxation that's a short, easy stroll to the beach and away from any noise, Zio Pinetree Resort is ideal.

    English speaking staff.. highly recommended for foreigners. The property has amazing facilities and the view is spectacular. Even better when you come prepared for BBQ. Can’t recommend this place enough

    Recently stayed in the Royal Suite with friends and it was a great experience! Apartment was very spacious and clean! Our room came with a coffee machine and we also had access to tea/ coffee/ water/ ice etc. Location is great! We were able to walk to Surfy beach in 12 minutes. The hotel offers a pick up services from 21:30-01:30 which is extremely helpful! Staff are very pleasant and kind!! 10/10 experience and would happily stay here again :)

    Room is very clean (most important) and complimentary breakfast (buns and yogurt) was provided each day as breakfast. Kitchen was equipped with every utensil and the beds were so comfortable and big. Room was spacious too!! Definitely recommending!!
