    It was well we used a taxi after arriving in Valparaiso, as the hotel perches high atop the town. Checking in was effortless and Alex guided us around the tranquil spaces the hotel possesses. Beware of stairs, if they daunt you be sure to get a ground floor room. The high ceilings bedrooms were lovely; if we had managed a sea view room that would have iced the cake. Breakfast was lovely each morning. Having it on the top terrace made it even better. There are three relaxing terraces, with stellar views of the hillside suburbs, in all their vibrant colour. If this was not enough, the location is outstanding for walking the neighbourhood and enjoying the restaurants, cafes and bars. Recommended.
