The place looked great upon arrival and the staff was great at the start.
The first night was terrible as I stayed in the cave honeymoon with a private pool suite they provided. There was a massive Cyclades warning and the rooms shutter was broken and it took this hotels staff 2 days to fully fix. I was then blamed for the problems of the broken shutter afterwards from all staff even though the maintenance was the only people that came and touched it past the first night.
I attempted to close the shutter the first night because the wind was banging the jacuzzi room door for basically the whole trip and I couldn’t sleep for 2 whole nights. When it was fixed, it was past a 24 hour mark despite them saying they’re concerned for us because there is a weather warning (they didn’t even check this problem before we checked in and basically admitted it.)
Staff spent hours and hours past midnight arguing with me instead of fixing a problem with the shutter which still made horrible noises when it was closed…. Blaming me and defending other staff members it was horrible as I felt unsafe with no security.
They asked me to stay and switch rooms after being denied a switch in rooms (they said they were fully booked but had rooms on their website) prior so I humbly declined and went to a hotel. It was so bad I didn’t care about the refund they denied I just wanted to get somewhere safe where they care.
Moral of the story is don’t come here during a weather warning.

The hotel is in a nice and quiet location, 10 mins walk from town by the cliff , can watch sunsets very day, beautiful and small place to stay on your own. Breakfast is great and serve to your room.

- the view was great, overlooking the caldera but the location is far from where the cars / buses are allowed

- the price is too expensive, though, considering the limited facilities

We were duped into staying by clever images of the room & facilities. The view over the caldera is very good. The main issues: the plunge pool is a glorified bathtub, you have zero privacy as everyone walking the caldera path can look in, there is nowhere to sit near the edge. You share the “pool” with another room. The entrance is shared by 3 rooms in total. There is a smell of donkey crap when you sit outside. Basically, this room is a serious rip off. There are no internal windows & the room is damp (as it’s basically a cave). The upside is Sofia who was a gracious hostess & very helpful. Ilias is a lovely chap who delivered breakfast each morning & took our bags up the “donkey track” to our transport out. This was undoubtedly the worst value for money stay in my life. We were so happy to go onto Naxos where we stayed in a proper villa (100 sqm) with full sea views & our own private pool. Santorini is worth going for a half day to walk the caldera edge
