    Stayed as attending family event nearby. On arrival staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean with everything we needed. Had full English Breakfast which was delicious!! Plenty of parking space. Would recommend!!

    We were a bit disappointed by Ye Olde Mustard pot, we had booked a room & evening meal. The pub just needs the carpets cleaning & some new mattresses on the beds. The staff were friendly & service was good. My steak was lovely although the whole dish was luke warm, the chips were soggy & onion rings overcooked. My friends steak & ale pie was nice & hot but soggy chips. Breakfast was better than dinner & was included in the price which was good value for money if you're not expecting too much.

    This was very convenient for us doing the Peak District Boundary walk. However, we found it tired and in need of an update. All surfaces seemed sticky so cleanliness not up to standard. We enjoyed our evening meal and the bagged breakfast was surprisingly good.
