    The hotel's reception is very spacious and impressive, offering quick service. The room is also too big with all the facilities. Just a little reminder to the hotel authority to change a cattle plug. The hotel is situated in downtown Yangon. All are within walking distance of what you want. Will come back soon.

    I booked an 11-night stay here thinking the location would make it convenient for local family to visit, unaware of the neighborhood’s reputation beforehand. The property is located directly in a red-light district, making it completely unsuitable for family travel. Red-Light Environment and Lobby Scene Because the area itself is a red-light district, the hotel lobby clearly reflects that trade. During my stay, I directly witnessed women lined up in the lobby being selected by older male patrons for overnight stays. This setup explains why management enforces rigid, intrusive restrictions against outside visitors, policies that end up directly penalizing ordinary guests. Excessive Fees and Visitor Policing The hotel strictly prohibits outside guests from visiting rooms. All family visits must take place downstairs in the common areas. Furthermore, their overnight guest pricing is exorbitant: they charge a mandatory *** per night simply for an extra person to sleep in the room, and adding an extra bed incurs an additional fee on top of that. The enforcement is aggressive and poorly coordinated. On check-in day, I asked the front desk for permission to have my dad carry heavy bags upstairs just to help us unpack, and we left his ID at the desk as instructed. Moments later, a staff member who brought up scissors saw three people in the room and reported an unauthorized occupant. The front desk immediately called up to reprimand us, completely ignoring the permission and ID exchange they had logged downstairs minutes prior. Being monitored and hassled over routine luggage assistance made our stay feel hostile. Room Quality and Tap Water The tap water had a persistent, strong rust odor. Every time I washed my hands, the metallic smell lingered on my skin. When I reported the issue to the front desk, maintenance staff came up to try to clear or flush the pipe line, but it did not help at all. It was bad enough that I ended up having to buy bottled water just to brush my teeth and wash my face. The hotel never offered a room change despite the problem persisting across an 11-night stay. Dining and Inflexible Breakfast Rules The breakfast food is genuinely good, and the dining staff are polite and attentive. However, the dining policies are unusually restrictive. You cannot go down, grab the food you want, and bring it back up to eat in your room. If you want to have your included breakfast in your room to eat instead of dining in the dining hall, you are forced to pay an additional *** service fee to have them bring it up. Overall Verdict While the frontline service staff, especially at breakfast, are friendly, the combination of a red-light location, visible escort activity in the lobby, aggressive visitor scrutiny, high per-person fees (***/night), and rusty tap water made for an uncomfortable experience. For travelers visiting or hosting family, book elsewhere.
