    I stayed at Yaling Hotel as a solo traveler and booked a room with one double bed. However, I was assigned a room with two double beds instead. It wasn’t a major issue, but I had specifically requested one double bed, so it was a little disappointing that my preference wasn’t accommodated. On the positive side, the hotel did accommodate my request for a room on a higher floor with a harbor view, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was also great, and the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience more pleasant. One thing I noticed was that I was only given one key card. Since I was traveling alone, this may be the hotel’s standard practice, so I wouldn’t necessarily consider it a complaint. However, having an additional key card could be convenient. Unfortunately, the strong winds during my stay, intensified by the typhoon, caused a loud howling noise in my room throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep properly. I understand that the weather was beyond the hotel’s control, but the noise affected my overall comfort. It would be worth checking whether the windows could better minimize wind noise during such conditions. Overall, I appreciated the friendly service, good breakfast, and harbor view. With some improvements to room assignment preferences and noise insulation, the stay could have been even better.

    Swimming pool closed in cold seasons; Breakfast sub-standard; choice far from plentiful; meals cold and not desirably kept warm/heated; Water pressure of shower tap terribly weak( my room is at 11/F).
