    This is a decent hotel, seems fairly new and I stayed here for 2 nights before an early morning flight home. Room was very clean and functional with a giant smart TV, mini fridge, room safe, some toiletries. It was also very quiet, but one night as I was sleeping, all the lights suddenly switched on and went off again a few minutes later which was scary. They don't provide face or hand towels or hand soap, probably in line with their sustainability policies. Pool with a swim up bar and kiddy slide seemed fun. Staff were very friendly and nice. Breakfast was basic but enough to keep me full. A couple of local dishes, some dimsum, lots of breads and pastries, eggs, juice, coffee, etc. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the beach, and along the way there are a few restaurants, pharmacies, grocery shop, fruit stalls, massage shops. The only grouse I have with this hotel is they asked me for a deposit for THB3000 at check in, which is more than what I paid for the 2 nights I stayed. Maybe they can look into this as it seems disproportionately high, as previously I deposited THB2000 for a 5 night stay at a different hotel. All in all, a very good hotel to stay at if you're looking for a place nearer to the airport. It's 15 minutes by car. The beach nearby is lovely and clean, and not crowded.

    Don’t stay here unless you want a corporate style hotel which has a terrible customer service attitude and incapable of making it better. We had an issue with our booking which meant that we were only booked for one person . A series of incorrect / not helpful inflated pricing options to solve the issue and even though happy to accept our three passports at 10 am on arrival (can’t get into rooms until 3 ) when we went to get our keys they surprised us with another surcharge for my 12 year old daughter . Saying there was a third person staying and we had to pay for her or couldn’t have keys and get in the room . The manager didn’t understand the issue , that we had already paid for an extra room and that no one disclosed and further charges at that point . It was clear from the outset there were three people staying at the hotel . He shuffled bits of paper around misunderstanding that we were railroaded into booking a second room as had three people - paid for it then when we went to get keys asked to pay an extra charge . There was no capacity to solve a problem but pay way over the odds . A twin room suitable for two adults and a child was available on agoda for a reasonable price and they would not provide any solutions apart from pay the ransom for my daughter or none of us could have stayed there . We paid about 5 times the price that we had intended . Breakfast was poor . Nescafé machine and no real coffee. No pancakes , poor selection of fruit in comparison to the other hotels we have stayed on on our trip to Thailand . They completely ripped us off and ruined our arrival and first day with their incompetence to see the three people staying as anything other than more money. We got into our room at 4 pm after so much stress and unexpected charges and expense . I was meeting my long term friend who lives abroad , after years of planning this trip with my 12 year old daughter and I wished I had never booked this stay with them . My friend booked the hotel next door for thirty dollars for her third night as opposed to the triple she was forced to pay rather than the hotel managing to put three of us in a suitable room which was our intention . They offered an unaffordable luxury suite as the only alternative. The irony was our room was so big with two sofas and a bed style lounger suitable for a child to sleep but we were forced to book another room and then an undisclosed surcharge many hours later in order to access our rooms . There are lots of nice hotels in this area and this has building work and doesn’t understand how to treat guests and solve issues with a genuine intention . Avoid !

    We booked 3 nights because it was supposed to be a newly built hotel. When we got there, it seemed as though only one section of it was new, and we were given a nice new room, but it faced the wall and parking and there was construction going on all around us. We weren't bothered, but under no circumstance was this room an "upgrade". The 4th day we were still too tired from our travels and wanted to rest another day, so we asked if we book another night if we could stay in the same room, as the whole point was to rest and not move rooms. We were told that the advertised price online was not for our room, even though that's what we had originally booked, and were told we had to pay extra to stay in that room. This was super strange as we were never told we were originally upgraded, nor did it feel like an upgrade. So we left. In addition, the breakfast was inedible. Never been to a buffet before where not a single dish was any good. And if you are vegan, there were zero options. The pool was meh, it was more for kids. The town was also very sleepy and the waves huge. There is was better value out there.
