    If you rather spend your budget on enjoying what Bangkok has to offer but still want a private room and bathroom, then checkout EAIN work + stay. For as low as 17 usd / 700 thb a night, I got a private a/c room, single comfy bed, and a private bathroom. My room had no window, wardrobe, desk, and other ammenities offered in standard hotels but it had the basic neccessities. For just a few bucks more it beats most hostels. Its also a new property so cleanliness and friendliness is still a priority. The location is spectacular- ajacent to a new Central Park Shopping mall and a 3 min walk to Lumpini Park, the Silom MRT, and the Saladaeng BTS.

    I stayed for nine days mostly for work purposes. The location is really good, being only a 5-10 minute walk to MRT Silom and BTS Sala Daeng stations. Getting essentials is also easy since it is near several small shopping malls, Watsons, and 7Eleven stores. Staff service was good. I arrived at around 9pm, but there was still someone who handled my check-in. I requested a hairdryer, and water can be refilled/replaced with new bottles. I also opted for cleaning and replacement of towels every few days, which was easily granted. There is also a common area for reheating food and storing it in the fridge. The room was simple and clean, but it was just what I was looking for -- an affordable and private place to stay. All-in-all, it was a pleasant stay.
