Windsor Hotel

The first night of our stay was good and we did not experience any problems. However, on the second day, the hotel had no running water, and according to the staff, the issue affected the entire hotel. Having no running water is a serious problem for any accommodation, as we were unable to shower or properly use the basic facilities in our room. I understand that unexpected technical problems can happen. However, what matters is how a hotel handles such situations and how it treats the guests who are affected. Unfortunately, this issue significantly affected our overall experience. I believe that when such an essential service as running water cannot be provided, guests should be offered a prompt and fair resolution for the night affected.

Everything is fine. Excellent location. The only complaint is that my room did not have a refrigerator

The hotel claims to be 4 star hotel, which is on the wall plack outside the hotel near the entrance and obviouly is incorrect. The bottom sheets did not stay on the bed as they were not fitted and there was no underlay so half the time we'd be laying on the bare mattress. The room was mouldy smelling and the sliding door did not open properly. We had to ask for clean towels regularly and the ones supplied where dirty looking. And sometimes damp. We were also told tha5 there no clean ones sometimes. Some days they did not make the room up and never cleaned floor or bathroom. We had to constantly ask for coffee, sugar and milk that was supposed to be supplied but did not receive it most of the time as the said they had ran out. The staff did not seem to care if their guests were uncomfortable. We asked to use hotel phone re a restaraunt booking we wanted to change & offered 2 euro for a local call but they refused. To be honest I was horrified at the way guests were treated and will think twice before booking something through Agoda again as the hotel in London also was not ideal & booked through Agoda as several times there were leaks coming from the above apartment on two occasions and our apartment which was very small was filled with water.....both times in early hours of the morning.

The location is great for shopping and transport, making it easy to get around and enjoy nearby stores. The bathroom facilities were decent, but the room size felt cramped and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. Cleanliness and staff service left something to be desired, which impacted the overall experience despite reasonable value for money.
