We stayed here as a family and on the 2nd night we noticed big bed bugs on the bed. We took photos and videos and took it to the reception straight away and they apologised and moved us to another room - a larger suite. They were friendly but only seemed to take us seriously when I was very firm and insistent on moving rooms. Then we moved to next room and there were cockroaches on the floor. A massive one that I put a cup over and several small ones in the corner of the room under the fridge. I went downstairs to reception - it was maybe 1am at this time and my sister cried because it was so gross. We asked for a full refund but they were very dismissive. They offered us another room and we refused and took a taxi to go and stay in another hotel, they didn't even offer to pay for the taxi nor a refund. They only offered a refund for that night. It has since been 6 months since they said they would offer the refund for the night and we still haven't recieved it. Honestly, new and modern hotel, in a great location and the staff were very polite, however, we find bedbugs and coakcroaches absolutely filthy and unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.
