    We were welcomed by Jakes, a friendly and professional host. He showed us where to go and also assisted us the remaining oart of our stay. Highly recommend Waterfall Safari Lodge.

    The lady that welcomed us was so nice however my stay was not the greatest from the cleanliness of the cabin and maintenance that is required. The toilet seemed so dirty and the the basin was almost falling apart. All inner curtains had wasps that seemed to have been living there which I had to free out. You could actually count the tea bags that was kept for us and sugar in containers Was only 2 teabags that seemed so Old which I did not want to use. One small soap and 2 toilet papers for a 3 night stay for a couple. I could have easily asked for more but u expect better. The location is great. But just did not get that world class service. Make sure to carry food as the restaurant is meant to be opened til 7 and and there was an evening I was there at 5pm with not a soul to be found. I really loved the fact that the housekeeping and staff do not disturb you and leave you to enjoy. Even though I just did not feel special. There was people from another country that arrived after me who got first preferance in getting their rooms while at my partner and I had to wait even thou we were there first..This was explained afterwards which I understood but still did not sit well with me. Overall I just think the place needs to be maintained better especially the rooms and customer service could be better. If you ever decide to go there. Ask for Jakes. The chef. He is amazing. And that’s the smile and friendliness u want from someone.

    Just what we needed.....peaceful, tranquil, beautiful surroundings. I loved the air-conditioning in the lodge, especially now in Winter. I would love to go back in summer. Friendly staff.
