    Watercolours Boutique Resort is a wonderful place to stay on Ko Chang. Jason and Thanya have created a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. Located about 0.75 km off the main road, Watercolours is tucked into a quiet corner along Klong Prao (Coconut Canal) and the ocean. It’s a short walk to the beach or a longer and enjoyable walk back to the main road along a tranquil road surrounded by fields and trees. The 5-room resort is cozy but has a great restaurant and equipment for water activities. Walls are painted bright colors and delightful tiles adorn the walkways. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely furnished. Bathrooms are airy with plenty of hot water. Internet is fast and reliable. There are common areas near the reception where you can enjoy a meal or get some work done along with places to sit next to the canal perfect for sunbathing, reading or having a drink. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Jason and Thanya go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. They arranged a special meal for me and my friends, helped a friend with transportation (even though he wasn’t a guest at the resort) and provided great suggestions about activities and food options on the island. I will definitely stay at Watercolors my next visit to Ko Chang. More than a place to stay, it’s a destination in and of itself.

    Possible for sale when we visited. Seemed short-staffed, though the single housekeeper was delightful and helpful. Nice provision of kayaks and canoes for guests. Nice owner-managers. Just quiet and off the beaten path, a long way to walk to the main road, restaurants, the temple and night market.

    A nice place to relax, but a fairly long walk from the main road. Firm bed. Decent water pressure. Kayaks and canoes available to ply the klong to the beach, bars, and restaurants across the canal. Recommend renting a motorbike(s) for easier getting around.
