    This hotel does not live up to my expectations at all for a 5 star hotel. First, There was a power outage in the region of this hotel during our stay and what I am suprised about is there wasn't any generator for a such a big hotel. So we had to stay in the room without AC and in darkness for a few hours. Secondly, it is located inside a small lane therefore no big buses can stop right in front of the hotel and when our tour leader tried to ask the hotel to send the bell desk to help with our luggages they refused to do so. So everyone had to drag our luggages from the main street to the hotel when we arrived by the tour bus. Thirdly, the water system had to be maintained during our stay there eventhough it was done in the wee hours of the night but it still causes inconvenience to us and the water in the shower is not running strong enough. What a disppointment.

    Price is slightly on the high side but I do recommend W Rome. It’s a 5 min walk to the train station, 10 min walk to the Spanish steps and shopping area. Place is clean and comfy, nice welcoming staff
