We stayed at the property during our Vrindavan visit, which coincided with Janmashtami, and overall, it was a memorable experience. What really stayed with us was the thoughtfulness of the Vivanta team in bringing the festive spirit into the hotel itself. The celebrations, performances and even the beautifully arranged Krishna jhula made the stay feel special and added a lovely touch to our Janmashtami experience. A special mention to the front desk team, especially Jaya and Kimsheron, who were warm, courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The team members who played Krishna and Radha during the celebration in the ground-floor banquet hall were also wonderful. They were particularly sweet and attentive towards our infant daughter, which we genuinely appreciated and will remember. The property is new, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The pool area was another pleasant spot, with good music and a relaxed atmosphere. Thankfully, the weather was also nice enough for us to spend some quality time there. There are, however, a few areas where the experience could be improved. The pool had some animal droppings that had not been cleared, which was disappointing from a cleanliness and maintenance perspective. Breakfast was good overall, but the service at the live counters could be more attentive. We ordered items such as waffles and masala chai, but unfortunately, they never arrived at our table. Since we were travelling with friends and their grown-up children, we also felt the property could benefit from more recreational options — perhaps a pool table, carrom, board games or some other indoor activities. There wasn't much to keep older children or even adults engaged during downtime, and we did find ourselves getting a little bored at times. One useful option for guests is that the hotel has golf carts available on rent, which make visiting the temple areas much more comfortable. Alternatively, three-wheelers are readily available outside the hotel and are another convenient way to get around. Going for a post-meal walk outside the hotel wasn't particularly pleasant due to potholes and waterlogged streets. This is, of course, more of a local infrastructure issue than something the hotel can control. Within the property itself, the space is relatively compact, so there isn't much room for guests to take a leisurely walk. In a nutshell, we enjoyed our stay. The warmth of the team, their genuine attention towards our daughter, and the effort made to bring the spirit of Janmashtami into the property were the highlights for us. With a little more attention to pool maintenance, live-counter service and recreational facilities, the overall experience could be even better. Overall, a warm and thoughtfully managed stay, especially during the festive rush, and we would be happy to return.
