This property was materially misrepresented. I checked out after two nights despite paying $***for a three-night stay.
The listing advertised a hotel with a gym, pool, and balcony. None of these exist. The space is not a hotel, but a remodeled attic above a coffee shop, accessed through a side entrance.
Noise insulation is nonexistent. The bedroom and living room windows face a busy coffee shop patio and street, making sleep impossible. Listing photos are misleading, using tight zooms to suggest a direct ocean view, while the primary view is the patio below with the ocean only in the distance.
The unit smelled strongly of coffee shop and baked goods, and an automatic bathroom air freshener repeatedly sprayed scent throughout the stay.
I checked out at 10:45 a.m. after the second night, left the key at the coffee shop counter used as the front desk, and contacted the host and platform. I received no response.
This property should not be marketed as a hotel or as having amenities it does not provide.
