    One of the best places to stay in wayanad if you are looking for a quiet getaway, but more than that the food served there by the chef was just mind blowing and felt like home. The Manage Mr. Manoj was helpful. Great place to visit.

    1. Our room wasn't ready. 2. There was extremely bad smell in the room and washroom. The room seemed to be closed since ages. They didn't bother to open n keep it ready. Later they asked us to change the room, we were too tired to again shift to another room. 3. Bedding was dirty. As there were hair on the bedsheet, staff removed hair and told us now the bedsheet is clean. Literally we had to request to change it. Bed was very uncomfortable, we were unable to get any rest after such a long drive. 4. As soon as we entered and while the bedsheet was being changed, we were asked to confirm the dinner because staff wanted to finish the job quickly and we were the only guests there. We had driven for 10 hours only to land in a unkempt homestay. 5. The glass partition in the washroom had marks and looked like it was never cleaned. Not very clean washroom and bath area. 6. Whatever we asked for in dinner and Breakfast wasn't available. Even the items that were ordered for breakfast wasn't prepared for us, but as per their convenience. We were told that since Breakfast is complimentary, we should have whatever they prepared. 7. No facility/ amenity was there. Pool was full of sand/ mud, with broken tiles all over inside the pool. Even Sauna/ spa wasn't available. 8. Outdoor/ plants/ garden wasn't maintained . The first impression we get is of an abandoned property. 9. Generally in homestays , host will be available and food is customised. Here the host didn't bother to check with us regarding our stay, even though we had informed him about the issues there. 10. Not recommened, 4 star hotels with good service/ food/ amenities are available at a much lesser price in the town. Price is very high and maintainence was no where close to good. Stay was not pleasant.
