    Somewhat run down, which is a shame. Saying that, the staff extremely helpful and considerate By upgrading the acomadations you would have a gem which would give a great alternative to interstate visitors

    Friendly staff, clean room, but terrible soundproofing We stayed for two nights as a couple. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. We had no issues with the cleanliness or the facilities in the room. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was a major issue and completely ruined our stay. We could hear guests from all sides of our room, as well as from upstairs. The walls seemed to provide virtually no sound insulation at all — it was so bad that we could even hear people unzipping their bags. We couldn’t get a proper night’s sleep on either night. For the price we paid, I feel that adequate soundproofing should be a basic expectation, particularly because getting a good night’s sleep is such an important part of a hotel stay. Sadly, because of the noise, we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

    Some of the reviews are terrible so was expecting the worst. Quick 1 night fishing trip with kids and just wanted somewhere to stay without spending too much. It's ok, was clean, comfy bed, clean sheets and towels, was ok for overnight stay, get what you pay for. Staff are really great.
