Villa LunaSole Samui

Pretty good stay overall, the let down was a particularly uncomfy bed and up a very dark, unlit road around 60m or so which was a little unpleasant at night. Pool was good but didn’t see staff more than a couple of times during our stay so ended up with a fair bit of rubbish too. I’d probably prefer to stay somewhere a bit closer to the action next time

Surrounded by greenery and wildlife. Great location - easy walk to 7-eleven, local restaurants, Fisherman's Village, and more. A perfect spot to enjoy nature.

It is quite difficult to locate as there is no signage at the bottom of the narrow lane to get get to it. Once there, it is a little gem of a place 😃. Our check in by Betty ( apologies if spelling is incorrect) was excellent. I don't know the helpful and friendly Burmese male member of Staff helped us with our heavy luggage and always had a pleasant smile and greeting. The rooms are spacious with a kitchenette area, stove, microwave, toaster etc. Everyone has the bonus access to the use of 2 communal washing machines for free as well. They even supply free detergent. We are long term travellers so being able to find for ourselves was a treat. Everywhere was kept clean and tidy. It's a small 2 floor level resort. There are enough sunbeds for the community. For me personally, I struggled to get down and up from them as they are low for my build and mobility issues. One needs to go as it is broken and detracts from the look of the place. The umbrellas are excellent and provide much needed shade. The pool is small but very good. I was able to get a good swim by myself every day. Maria, the manager ensures that everyone is ok. She is around and does frequent management checks . I can't praise the Staff enough. Location is about a 20 min walk to Fisherman's Village. There is a 7 Eleven close by and local fruit / veg store . The resort is nice and quiet but you are at the mercy of tourists on the 2nd level . The uneducated ones can stomp around or scrape chairs or let their kids run up and down. Maybe some information about etiquette would be useful for these types of people ? There is a useful booklet with info. We hired a scooter using this and the company was very reliable and fair pricing. Overall, we paid a fair price for the facilities and location. We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed the facilities. We would definitely come back to stay here again. Thank you LunaSol team 🙏

Property has large and spacious rooms, good swimming pool for kids… but… U will have problems with showers flooding the bathroom and u stepping into the water every time you need fo use bathroom You will never see anyone at the check in or check out. You will never hear an apology or an explanation about why rooms have no curtains and you have bright lights shining straight into your bed during the night. You will never get anyone to come and sort you room problems out.. Totally disengaged management.. though property has a good potential.. alas…
