I had a very comfortable and pleasant 1-week stay at Villa Ayaba in Abidjan and would highly recommend it.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served à la carte, with eggs prepared to your preference, accompanied by a bread basket, butter and jam. Depending on the day, breakfast also includes either fresh fruit or juice. Coffee and tea are also available with breakfast.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have also recently introduced a food menu, which may be available throughout the day, making it convenient if you prefer to eat at the hotel. There is also a swimming pool.
The staff were consistently friendly, courteous and helpful, which made the stay particularly enjoyable.
The hotel is located at the end of a gated cul-de-sac, with a security guard present 24/7. The main gate is locked at around 10:30 pm, but access is still possible afterwards as the security guard remains on duty around the clock. I found the location to be quiet and secure, while still being very convenient. There are also many restaurants and cafés within a 5–10 minute walk of the hotel.
Considering the quality of the accommodation and service, the hotel is competitively priced and offers very good value for money.
Overall, Villa Ayaba is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean and well-run hotel without requiring the size and extensive amenities of a large hotel. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
