    This place is good for groups who would enjoy drinking and talks till late in the night, who doesn't require rooms to be clean or other facilities. Room: Small in size, not much ventilation for breeze, no natural light at all. Amenities: Lack basic amenities like a table, a cupboard to keep things. So you have to keep your stuff on the ground and pick things. There is no geyser. Whatever fixtures are available, they are not done well and not usable, like the door doesn't have a handle to open, windows don't have shutters to close, toilet seat is not fixed, etc. Cleanliness: There is dust all over the room and bed that falls from cealing. Bed is filled with dust and insects making it difficult to get sleep. Ambience: Seating outside is nice under the cashew trees. However, inside the room is suffocating. Also, during our stay, guests and hosts were drinking and talking till 4 am in the night and the noise comes directly inside the room as there are no window shutter. We couldn't sleep the whole night. Price: They list Rs 2000 per night, we got some discount from Agoda and it was 1500 per night. However, it is not worth it.

    *5/5 Stars* We had an amazing time at Vilar in Auroville! This beautiful property exceeded our expectations in every way. The moment we stepped in, we felt at home. The serene surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made our stay truly unforgettable. What made our experience even more special was the warmth and hospitality of Jincy and Vicky, our wonderful hosts. They were always available to chat, share stories, and make us feel comfortable. We loved spending time with them and playing with Sevi, their adorable dog - he’s a bundle of joy! One of the standout features of Vilar is its perfect balance of social interaction and private time. We could relax in solitude when needed or join Jincy and Vicky for delightful conversations. Overall, Vilar is an exceptional choice for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat in Auroville.     One of the best property in auroville for solo travellers who needs to meet people and connect with people. Friendly volunteers are the highlight. My travel itinerary changed once I reached and spend my all travel days here. Extremely recommended

    Even though my stay was very short but loved the hospitality and Ambience. The bunk beds are very comfortable and provide a very much value for money stay. There are quite a lot of activities too offered which are very great valueadd. The rooms are neat and clean. Ample parking space.
