Vila Perast Boutique Hotel

We booked the room named "Twin Room-Attic." We were assigned Room 17, which is located in the attic. This was a terrible experience... absolutely terrible! Here are the details: The Room & Bed: * Low sloped ceiling: The ceiling is slanted and very low, which is probably why a proper, normal bed cannot fit in the space. * Uncomfortable sofa bed: Instead of a real bed, they put a small sofa bed in the room. It consists of two mattresses that are broken at the edges. * Unstable and sagging: The sofa bed was highly unstable and sagged deeply in the middle. It was physically impossible to get a good night's sleep on it. * Sleepless nights and pain: For most of our two-night stay, we couldn't sleep properly and woke up with severe back pain. * Safety hazard: At one point during the night, as I was trying to get out of bed, the sofa lost its balance and tipped over, causing me to fall to the floor. * Dangerous layout: There are two steps in the middle of the room leading down to the bed area. Navigating this obstacle is dangerous, especially in the dark. Furthermore, if you sit up quickly in the middle of the night, you are at high risk of hitting your head on the low, sloped ceiling directly above. Customer Service: * We asked to be moved to a regular room or to have a normal bed brought in—they refused. * We asked for a single, solid mattress to place on top of the sofa bed to make it bearable—they refused. Accessibility & Luggage: * No elevator: The room is on the 3rd floor. * Difficult stairs: The staircase is narrow, steep, and winding. Carrying heavy luggage up and especially down these stairs is exhausting and requires extreme caution. Amenities: * Missing basics: The room lacks basic amenities—there is no kettle, coffee, tea, or cups of any kind. * Terrible Wi-Fi: The internet barely works. It is extremely slow and disconnects every few seconds. Bathroom: * There are another two steps leading down into the bathroom. This is highly dangerous, especially when stepping out after a shower when the floor is wet and slippery. Breakfast & Restaurant Staff: * The Food: Breakfast was basic but relatively decent. No complaints there. * The Staff: The restaurant and breakfast staff were absolutely excellent! They were incredibly helpful and service-oriented—a true ray of light in an otherwise dark experience. * This was honestly the only highlight of our stay at this hotel. Summary: I have no idea what the other rooms are like (the ones that aren't trapped in the attic). I assume they are much better - However, my strong recommendation is never to book the "Twin Room-Attic" (Room 17)!!!

Excellent location! Right in the middle of Perast. Lovely spacious room, well appointed. Note that the boardwalk is closed to vehicles in summer., but we phoned the hotel when we arrived at the parking lot (€15/24hrs) and they sent a golf cart to pick us up. On the whole an unforgettable stay.

Good location! The reception lady was very nice. Outdated and not so clean. Has good value for money for sure considering the location. I would not eat from their restaurant.
