Good hotel at nominal price only issue observed that drive rooms are not available

Well the swimming pool is closed permanently but they still show it in the images, we mainly booked for that, other wise its a comfortable hotel, short on staff, and noisy nights because of the club just above the hotel and gym beneath.

We stayed here for 6 nights . The hotel perhaps is not used to having a fully booked place. The staff was rude and instead of helping out would only show the rule book for every little thing. There was a State tournament hence the hotel was booked for families with parents and children. The administration was extremely poor given the event and the type of guests and their needs. The staff took more interest in refusing services and cmshowing charges than being helpful given that there were kids. The online bookings were a complete mess. Across all the platforms what they claim as a suite room was not a suite at all but a room slightly larger than the normal ones,the bathroom fittings were all rusty and not working well So inspite of booking the top end room we had limitless issues.. right outside the suite room was perhaps the chimney of the restaurant so we got limitless smell of food! Not really great! There were more problems with their online bookings like whether breakfast is included not included and so on. Basically we realised that for everything to happen all the guests had to enter an argument and then finally it would get resolved. The front desk staff would watch mobile phones through the night on loud volumes that would disturb us we finally had to tell them. Basic etiquette’s of running a hotel were totally missing and perhaps they need to be trained well. A lot of improvement is essential as they are absolute amateurs. The property is decent the rooms are ok if you get a room that has everything working. The staff needs extensive training . There were a few good souls like *** from the team trying to make up for the inefficacy and incompetence of his colleagues. Or *** who would always end up doing damage control and help. But others were clueless.
