Turquoise Pyramids Gate City Centre

The photo did not match the room I received. The room appears to be in the middle of being repaired/renovated. Dust everywhere, drywall not properly painted, stains in multiple areas. The ac was not working properly, the sink was leaking onto the bathroom floor and the bathroom smelled like sewage. We asked for a room change the following night and was given a better room that didnt smell , with a working ac and overall cleaner. I believe they are aware of the poor condition of the initial room and still put customers in it so it's reflective of poor hotel management. The rooftop was also not open. The photos does not represent the actual room you get. Quite unfortunate. The staff were not friendly however it could be due to language barrier. The entrance to the pyramids is walking distance which is great and theres an awesome falafel place close by. Tarek's. Check it on google maps. This hotel has potential if it focused on not renting out rooms that are clearly not functioning well.

Not much to add from what others have said. There is an elevated deck platform on the roof which gives a view of the two largest pyramids. The smaller Menkaure pyramid is obstructed from view by other hotels. The view is good. If you don't mind the hustle and bustle of the area, then it might be good enough for the price.

Most rooms are facing the street, terrible for light sleepers. First night was bad, as the room smells like the sheets were never cleaned. Toilet flush was broken! Next day the reception told us the cleaner was fired because too many people complained. Changed to a different room, slightly quieter than the first one and the new staff cleaned it very well! So it’s all about luck.

The view of the pyramids is great. Yet there’s no fridge and the floor was not clean and mopped when we arrived. It was very dusty. The phone is there but no one picked up when we dialled for assistance. The staircase was not clean when we arrived. The hotel has no escalator so it is not suitable for the elderly. The toilet was not that clean too. Sajadah for prayer was not available at all so it is not that Muslim- friendly too.
