The front staff was friendly, although the parking was a little bit far from the entrance.

I've stayed in a lot of hostels around the world. Treasure State isn't horrible, but it could be better. Location is directly beneath a restaurant with hardwood floors that caters to cowboys, so there's a lot of loud noise until quite late. Also, v the hotel itself is very echoy, as conversations were easy to overhear throughout the facility. Finally, the heat was blasting in July. I get that it was a cool, rainy night, but they're a huge difference between warm and hot. Good things: compared to other hotels in Bozeman for $***+ a night, $** was an excellent price. The couches in the common rooms were comfy, and the linens were clean. There was daily Continental breakfast. The bedrooms were nice and dark, but a little light leaked in from the hallway, which made it possible for me to find my bed when my roommates all went to bed before me. I'll consider staying again, but it wasn't the nicest hostel I've ever visited.
