New, clean and comfortable

We stayed at Travelus Hotel for three nights and had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. I really liked their self-check-in system. A passcode is sent to your email or mobile number, so there is no need to queue at the front desk or carry a hotel key card. The room and other areas can be accessed using the passcodes provided. Although it is a self-check-in hotel, communication with the staff is easy. There is a phone in the room that connects directly to the front desk, and a laminated information sheet provides instructions on how to contact the staff online. There is also a front desk in the basement that is available 24/7. There is also a bathroom, a lounge and a microwave at the basement. I emailed the hotel a few days before our stay to confirm our reservation and requested that the check-in details be sent via email. They responded promptly. We also left our luggage at the hotel in the morning. A staff member assisted us, and when we returned in the evening, we simply used the passcode to access the luggage storage area. There is also CCTV inside the storage area. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large air conditioner, dining table, big refrigerator, and washing machine with detergent provided. The bathroom was also clean. Cleaning service can be requested by hanging the note on the door before 1 PM, as explained in their email and the information provided in the room. The location is very convenient. It is close to Chungmuro Station and just one stop from Myeongdong. The airport bus stop is also nearby, and the hotel provides information outside explaining how to get to the bus stop. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. For improvement, I suggest adding a shower curtain in the bathroom. It would also be helpful to clarify the hotel's address on Uber and Klook airport transfer services, as two different addresses appear on the apps. We used the address shown on the hotel's information board, but unfortunately, our airport transfer went to WeCo Stay Hotel instead. Thankfully, the staff was able to speak with the driver and explain that our hotel was Travelus Hotel, so the issue was resolved. The staff also provided us with a calling card showing the correct address, which is useful when taking a regular taxi. However, it is not as helpful when booking through Uber because the destination is entered directly into the app. Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location was convenient, the room had everything we needed, and the staff were very helpful. I would be happy to stay here again.

The property offers great facilities and caring staff. The rooms are quite large and my family and I were very comfortable.

Unfortunately we found the beds as hard as a rock as was the lounge. We can’t work out why there is a huge fridge and freezer but NO utensils or crockery, not even a spoon! Also for a mum with 3 teenagers it was very small., Whilst the area is ok we wouid not stay in this hotel again. Staff seemed nice.
