    Beautiful stau away just outside the city. Plenty of activities abd we stayed in a beautiful room.

    Booked the accom on a whim while traveling to Chiang Mai. The accommodation definitely matches the pictures, it’s very gorgeous and the pools are nice. It was unfortunately frustrating at points though. We didn’t have a tv that worked for the first 2 days which was quite upsetting, although the staff did fix this with no issues. The walls are extremely thin, like paper. You can hear the noise from everywhere so expect to struggle to sleep or wake up early. Your room door also does not fully shut ever as they are French doors with no lock mechanic, you use a padlock (which doesn’t help with mosquitoes and sound). We came to find out that there is also no iron, laundry, or microwave. They told us about a place a few kilometres away we could get them done. I think no microwave is also strategic so that you’re more influenced to buy from their cafe, where it’s very expensive compared to other food restaurants and way more expensive than street food. That cafe issue wouldn’t be a problem but the location is about a 30 minute drive away from anything except a 7/11 7 minutes away. The location was actually the biggest issue, we assumed 30 minutes away would be fine but we realised it gets very cold in the mornings and night and the drives on bikes get a bit chilly. Mostly just gets tedious to drive 30 minutes to get anywhere. And if you want to use grab, there aren’t really any around the area, so you do really need a bike or car. It’s also no smoking, if that bothers you and there are signs every 3m saying it’s a 5000 baht fine. The accommodation is good if you want to stay by a pool and drink. If you actually want to experience Chiang Mai it’s a lot of money for not really much. Especially since you can’t book experiences from that location to be picked up from. So you will either need to make your own way there 1.5 hr or drive 30 minutes to a pickup location.
