I was greeted with pure Bahamian charm, an ice cold ginger beer and a familiarity of belonging. My separate room was air conditioned and chill, and while they didnt have a pool, the beach was only a few steps away. Situated in the centre of town, a walk on foot in either direction, nothing was too far away.

We recently returned to Tingum Village after getting married here 31 years ago. It is a gem on Harbour Island. Warm, welcoming, family-owned and full of history and charm, Tingum Village remains one of the few reasonably priced hotels on the island. Food - local and fantastic. Location - close to the Main Street and dock. Rooms - clean and comfy (and cool!). But honestly, the best thing is that you become part of the (very large) Percentie family. Enjoy!!

Amazing stay and exceptional friendly staff. Mikey the chef made the best meals and we loved the shrimp dish, Johnny cake and cheeseburgers . Also had the best massage i have ever had at the spa.
I can’t say enough about our stay we will definitely return! Really preferred being in a local setting 😊🏝️

Juanita was so kind to us. We arrived early and didn't have to wait long for the room. The room is small but light and airy. There is a table and two chairs and a couch outside so you can stay out of the room often. On the last day she let us stay in the room until the time we needed to leave for the ferry. Her sister even drove to the port to hand me a sweater I had forgotten in the closet. Thank you so much!
